Radiient Named CES Innovations Award Honoree for
Roomcaster® Wireless Surround-Sound Kit
 Santa Clara, Calif., November 12, 2008 – Radiient Technologies announced it has been named an International CES Innovations 2009 Design and Engineering Awards Honoree for its Roomcaster® Early Adapter Kit, which enables consumers to convert existing wired audio components into a wireless 5.1 surround-sound system.
Products entered in the prestigious CES Innovations program are judged by a prominent panel of industrial designers, engineers and members of the trade press.
Radiient's Roomcaster early adapter kit consists of a source adapter and six speaker adapters, which consumers can attach to any brand of speakers and source devices to create a 5.1 wireless surround-sound system.

"Radiient's goal is to reduce and eventually remove all AV cables from consumers' homes to make it easy for anyone to experience high-quality home entertainment."
Established in 1976, the CES Innovations Award program recognizes outstanding achievements in product design and engineering. It is sponsored by the Consumer Electronics Association (CEA)® and endorsed by the Industrial Designers Society of America.
Innovations entries are judged based on the following criteria:
- Engineering qualities
- Aesthetic and design qualities
- The product's intended use/function and user value
- Unique/novel features that consumers would find attractive
The Roomcaster early adapter kit will be on display at the 2009 International CES, January 8-11, 2009 in Las Vegas, Nevada, in Booth #72062 at the Innovations Showcase at the Sands Expo and Convention Center/The Venetian. Innovations honoree products are viewable online at www.CESweb.org/Innovations.
Radiient also will be demonstrating Roomcaster in a wireless 7.1 surround-sound system, January 8-11, at Booth #25753, LV Convention Center, South Hall 2, Ground Floor.
